How would you define "leadership" How would you rate yourself as a leader?
A leader is someone who has the capability to make decisions concerning other people or concerning himself. Before one acts as a leader he or she has to have experience, charisma or credibility comes along with experience.

Experince in my book is something that comes along with ones life not just the ideas that come along when someone is studying or reading books. As a leader one has to treat people with respect but also be able to say the right things at the right place, give positive feedback but also the hard ones. It´s better to give criticism to a worker privately than publicly.

A leader also shows people how the work is done according to company policy and also listens to workers and helps them with achieving goals and also personal (also team) satisfaction.

I do believe I could be a great leader. In the past I have seen many types of leadership. True leaders are close to workers not behind the wall or shouting from their ivory tower. Along with leadership comes of course the responsibility of making results and also making analysis, analysing potential customers, keeping key customers and finding new ones, how business deals are made and closed (customer satisfaction).

My last post of 2 years has been for Delta Cars South Ltd as a contact manager and during that time I have learned a lot about working with people but also about contacting companies decision makers (HR managers, CEO´s, CFO´s etc). My responsibility has been acquisition of new customers and selling Delta Cars services and products to companies. Some companies where I had meetings and I consider are good to mention are Valio Ltd, TDC Song, Componenta Ltd, Microsoft Finland, SAP Finland, AffectoGenimap, Teknos Ltd, Tekmanni Ltd, Huoneistokeskus Ltd, NCC International Ltd, G4S Security Services(Finland)Ltd, Metos Ltd Ab, ELTEL Networks Corporation, Aarikka Ltd, Insurance Company Tapiola, Teboil Ltd, Unilever Finland Ltd, Wihuri Ltd and Satama Interactive Ltd. All of these companies are big and many of them have business also outside Finland.

Salary was partly fixed around 40 % of my total monthly salary, including bonuses and provision from monthly sales. Bonuses came when I did 40 customer visits/meetings, 100 cold calls, average 30-40 offers and calls after offers, test drives between 20-25, delivey of cars 5-6 monthly. About customer visits: most of them where cold ones to small shops like barbers etc. All I can say about this is that I didn´t believe these cold visits will make sales (and did not) so I took the 3 month salary that was offered and left. Selling cars is not like selling candies.
